This whole thing is bad for the independents, very bad. IBM just cherry-picks the best accounts, leaves the others to go scambling for business as they chortle into the sunset. Better to have a few great large customers than a lot of small ones. Makes fulfillment, tracking inventory easier.

When IBM/Dell made their deal, I thought it was bad for MXTR and everyone, I said then that it signals a more aggressive IBM. I think this is just as bad. Only superficially does it affect only SEG. IBM created the drive industry, looks like Big Blue wants to reclaim it for itself.
