Clay and Thread,

I think things were spelled out pretty clearly on the conference call. Kealy seemed on top of things and the financial officer seemed a bit nerdy and tongue-tied. Maybe he was a CPA prior to the current post at IFCI.

My questions are...

1)Why call it IFCI if all operations are domestic?

2)Why not admit that there is some confusion in tabulating earnings because of the decentralized nature of operations? I kind of get this feeling that Kealy and the CFO are renting a little office front with leased furniture while the various arms of the company go on with business as usual.

3)The street may wish to see earnings rising sequentially before getting to involved in IFCI. Comparing "apples to oranges" leaves some degree of uncertainty. This is the first quarter of reported consolidated earnings, so a pattern has not set in. I did like the fact that the CEO feels acquisitions this year will be both selective and accretive.

I am holding my position for now (if anyone really cares).
