I think that this latest loss is the death knell (finally) for Sinktuary Woods and Charloot Walker. If you look at what's happened lately, you'll see that their ability to produce anything has been reduced to zero. They've sold off their Toronto studio, which produced their only successful (and I'm being generous by saying successful) products, their VP of Production, Renee Courington resigned at the beginning of the year leaving only Charloot and a few of her overpaid cronies at the helm. Not one single one of them has ever, ever, ever produced a computer-based product of any kind - I think one of them worked in TV for a while, but I can guarantee you that the software biz is a 180 degree turn from the way that the television biz works. These people are at the helm of a failed stock shelll that has even reduced Brian "the fat man" Beninger to a penniless outcast who will never receive another copper cent from any investor to fund any of his entrepeneurial enterprises again. Look at what happened to Wildwood, which was his next endeavor. They sold a whole pile of seed shares to early investors and tried to get listed on the VSE based on Beninger's clout in SW. Needless to say, it never got listed. Charloot is no longer interested in producing software or exploiting their licenses or even in getting better distribution for their existing inventories. She's sold off the rights to nearly every SW product ever made to Softkey, as evidenced by the presence of Master Lu, Buried In Time and all of the other SW products in the 99 CD pack. Even the optimists in this group have to admit that she's had MORE than enough time to turn a profit. Her excuses are starting to get tired - it's obvious that all she's interested in is driving the stock price back up (ie. 10:1 consolidation) to create a beneficial situation for the shareholders that she dragged into SW when she was still at Bear Stearns. I must admit I've derived some enjoyment in watching SW flounder for so long, but I kind of hoped that Charloot would do something a little more desperate or outrageous so that this slow spin down would have some entertainment value to it, but Iguess not.
