BOSTON, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet Commerce Services Corporation (ICOMS) today announced from the Internet Commerce Expo that it has added customizable order forms to its MerchantTrax commerce service. These forms enable the merchant to match the look and feel of the storefront Web site and modify the buyer experience in a way that is consistent with the merchant's business model. ICOMS is demonstrating its MerchantTrax e-commerce services at ICe this week, booth number 446.

Branding the look and feel of a site right through to the order form is significant as the actual purchase is the culmination of a buyer's experience on a site. There is a tremendous opportunity to communicate promotions and other offers to the buyer at the point of purchase and add an exciting graphic experience that makes the buyer want to come back.
Cataloger Simply Modern (www.simplymodern.com) uses the ICOMS SuperDOG* commerce service and was one of the first ICOMS customers to take advantage of the customizable order forms. Simply Modern's order form now has a look and feel that fits in with the rest of the site.
Hasbro Interactive (www.hasbro-interactive.com), a leading manufacturer of interactive games, is taking things a step further with a more advanced customization in the relaunch of its site. With three distinct product lines -- Hasbro Interactive, Atari and MicroProse all located at the Hasbro Interactive site -- the firm wanted to present an order form that reflected the product brand being purchased. ICOMS worked with Hasbro Interactive to create order forms for each product line.

The Customizable Order Form capability works by allowing the merchant to design the order page layout, and write the HTML and/or JavaScript code to implement the page design. In addition, the merchant can assign text and images throughout.
ICOMS' Quick Branding Service provides limited customization of the MerchantTrax order page and receipt page, such as adding store logos, customized copyright information (editing HTML displaying information at bottom of screen), customizing the toolbar, specifying screen colors, images or fonts and formatting screens with cascading style sheets.
ICOMS' Store Customization Service provides full customization of the MerchantTrax Buyer interface, with all of the same Quick Branding option, plus:
* Custom order form fields;
* Implementation of multiple order forms;
* Interactive order form functionality (JavaScript) for items like drop
down menus;
* The ability to capture information about the customer.

Available immediately, the Quick Branding Service is offered for $300 and the Full MerchantTrax Store Customization pricing is quoted on a per-request basis.
