Uh Scumbria, that may be true for servers, but it's definitely not true for the consumer market. Two 333 MHz processors aren't going to match one 450 MHz processor in Winstone, the same benchmark that you use to try and support your price/performance rant. And don't forget how useless that second processor will be when running games like Half-Life. Better yet, don't forget how useless that second processor will be in any Windows 98 task.

Even if all software were magically transformed to support multiprocessing, there's still a limit as to how much more performance that second processor will get you, and it depends on the application.
