PEABODY, Mass., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- ScanSoft, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSFT) today announced
that two of its scanning software products, Pagis ScanWorks and TextBridge Classic, have been
selected by Compaq Computer Corporation to be bundled with the new Compaq A900
All-in-One multifunction product. Pagis ScanWorks and TextBridge Classic give consumer and
small business users the tools to easily capture, recognize, edit, find and share scanned photographs
and documents.
For customers who need to turn paper into digital documents without retyping, TextBridge Classic is
a highly accurate and easy to use OCR product. Pagis ScanWorks seamlessly integrates TextBridge
Classic with image and file management, image editing, forms fill-in and one-button color copying.
The result is a comprehensive, all-in-one scanning software suite.
