RS:(not at you specifically, just a rant in general)

When was the last time you got a raise because a new hire was able to negotiate a better deal? As for myself, those instances are far and few between, maybe I'm with the wrong outfit (come to think of it...)

It is along the lines of many corporations which make that oh so wonderful comment: "Our Top Brass pay is within X% of the 'Corporate Average' so we can keep the best and the brightest."

Well that is all fine and dandy but someone has to be below average. Lake Woebegone it aint. If everyone keeps getting raises to move them into the upper percentiles, it creates a wonderful spiral for them.

They are the ones that profit handsomely by stock rises, how come they dont shoulder any responsibility for the stock price declines? Wanna bet there would have been a 'contingency launch plan' in effect before Zenit had some their real money been on the table, not just some potential future profits?

I have to assume both upside and downside potential and I dont have any(comparative) ability to influence the outcome.

Dont ask me to cry for BS because he has lost 10 times his salary in potential future profits. Last time I checked, my losses were real - not some future potential profits if I chose to exercise some options that were granted to me for nothing.

Pay them according to stock price each and every year. Why is that so tough? Because they are the ones that set up all the pay schemes in the first place.(See Al Dunlop at Sunbeam for a real winner!)
