Now listen here bud, you are using a little to much common sense for this here thread! Stop it...stop it now.

Seriously, I think you are on the money. I have been averaging down weekly (when will it stop) since earnings were announced. I am still in the red but with an average cost in low $40s, I am confident I will double or triple my $ in a year or two.

There has been some discussion of WCOM/UUNet here today. I am confident CSCC is going to get a large chunk of the business. Their frame network is built on CSCC 9000s. I expect their ATM core commitment to be predominatly CSCC equipment as well.

The underlying fact of the matter is that CSCC has superior WAN products. Their business strategy is outstanding and they will grow 50+% for several years IMO...this downturn is a gift. In the future, I hope management can do a better job setting reasonable expectations to the Street. They did a poor job of articulating the fact that the company is undergoing product transitions. (compared to say... the job ASND's management did) I remain convinced any problems CSCC is having or had are of the aforementioned variety and not of the technological/competitive variety. Time will tell.

Cheers,
Daniel
