AMEX/TSE:LGF Lions Gate Entertainment is pleased to announce today that a syndicate of underwriters led by Yorkton Securities Inc. and including First Marathon Securities Limited and Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. exercised their option to acquire 816,000 Common Shares at Cdn. $4.60 per Common Share. The option was granted to the syndicate to cover over-allotments of the equity offering. The exercising of this option has increased the total aggregate proceeds to $28,777,600.
