Houston, Texas: Press Release:
Compaq Computer announced on March 23 that the company has launched a new nostril-sized PC, the Sneezario AR-TISH-U The PC is 1.5mm x 2.3 x 0.5mm, and weighs only 1g. Because of its size it can be operated by the air pressure associated with shallow to normal breathing and has automatic hyper-pressure locking valves in the event of sneezing, snoring or hyperventilation. The new PC comes with a hand held magnifying glass and is designed for use by teams in which members have been trained to use the nostrils of other members as secure mobile entry points to networks. Shaped like a small kidney bean, the Sneezario is also adapted to ears and other body orifices. The Sneezario operates with a triple strength surgical elastic generator and under normal conditions, can work without tissue maintenance for about 4 hours. Company spokesmen said the first prototypes are designed only for men and women with cavernous hairy noses, but they hope current trials with "Sneezario Petite" will get up the noses of most of the population before the YK2 bug arrives. In full production COMPAQ hopes to produce the Sneezario in a range of flesh colours.
