Arthur, Thanks for your kind reply. I tried to sell puts with my (non-IRA) broker today. Everen Securities. They wanted me to have 100% margin or cash against the full exercise price in my account. Makes more sense for that to buy the shares outright and go long with those requirements. Do other brokers have lower requirements when selling puts? Craig
