tech2000: Alert: MICROSOFT SETTLEMENT OFFER 'NOWHERE NEAR' ACCEPTABLE-STATE ATTY GENL(of Iowa)-This is what i was talking about regarding settlement. Of course now MSFT can say to Jackson "Hey look what is so unreasonable about the offer?". The states think they are going to get $$ ala "tobacco" and they are going to be an embarassment to the DOJ. Hence Jackson will be put on thehot seat by the states. If he rules against the incorporation of browser and other products in Windows he subjects himself to the same overturn as the last time. JFD
