Victor: WHAAAAT! Forget Australia and New Zealand, I'd rather be a refugee in the U.K any day! I even like the food! I find it especially civilized that French fries can be eaten at breakfast.

The last I heard goes back to when Hong Kong was reverting back to China, the Governor (?) was not pleased that his family's pet was going to have to spend time in quarrantine upon his return to the U.K. From what I heard, someone was planning to present a bill giving his pet some kind of a waver.

I am glad the law is in the process of being changed. It never made sense to me that a nation populated with pet lovers had such pet-unfriendly regulations. That quarrantine always struck me as cruelty to animals.

P.S. The tab under the skin is really not a bad idea. I should think it would also make identifying the owner of a lost pet easier.
