Justin and All , Justin's points are well taken, and If I really believed that Ericsson was merely a handset manufacturer --- (as many who attempt to analyze the company do), I would be concerned.
Since I know that Ericsson is a highly diversified company, which is: 1. undergoing some pretty painful restructuring, suffering from (and recovering from) some stupid past mistakes and attitudes,
2. about to benefit from a possible GSM-CDMA (CDMA Overlay) agreement,
3. continually executing a "String of Pearl" policy,
4. and making some very smart investments in startup companies, as well as supporting some high tech "contests" -- I'm not particularly worried.
And I look forward to that $15 per share price. When It happens, I will load up several truckloads of Ericy stock.
Best,
Mardy. |
