<<I believe the story is over.>>

Glenn, if you review the Media Metrix data, the website visits to AMZN in the second month of Q1 99 were 35% higher than the website visits in the second month of Q4 98. And February has 6.7% fewer days than November. You can find this data by looking at my bio to find the links for my recent postings.

I believe that Dell represents the tip of the iceberg in deals which we'll be seeing from AMZN. I have a lot of confidence that KPCB can create relationships to leverage AMZN's exponentially growing customer base. I have no nonpublic knowledge here--this is just a personal belief.

FWIW, I had an early investment in AMZN which grew over 20x to become worth seven figures. I sold most of it in a panic in January at 125, but have bought some back so that I now have 60% of my original investment still with AMZN. I just don't want so much of my portfolio in any one company. I am betting a lot that AMZN will set a new high in 1999.

Best Regards,
Tom D
