Dennis Talluto was actually a fan of class 1 FC switching early on and I believe he thought FC 1 switching would be great as a LAN for vertical and other high end applications. If I remember correctly he also had an inkling that FC would be very interesting as a way of moving storaged information before there was a term SANs. Ed
