Thanks. I read parts, and skimmed through others. I found it interesting, and a confirmation of what you have put forward. It did raise the issue of what mass off-shore mining would do for the price of gem quality stones, to say nothing of the market for others. Would mass off-shore mining create a glut of gem-quality stones? If so, would traditional mining slow down, and, if so, what would that mean to the price and supply of non-gem quality stones, which I believe are used for industrial equipment.
