Why so quite , is something wrong with up coming earnings , I hate to go over to Yahoo for info , lets see some comments , is it really a fire sale right now ?

It's quiet, IMO, because nobody knows exactly whether or not it's a "fire sale" right now. This thread has lacked hype, appropriately. My general impression is that the Street does not understand Rational's various products that well, and thus the volatility observed is natural. Rational dipped to ~11 before last fall's earnings release sent it to the low 20's. All signs, except perhaps insiders selling or filing to sell, suggest that business remains strong. The relative deviations from "strong" are anyone's guess; the company has not issued any clear guidance.

April 15 will bring us the next earnings release.
