The monkey has me puzzled, so many seemingly erratic moves. So, I went back to look over the seven other times this year it has moved up more than 3 points, like today. On three of those occasions, it moved up about 1 3/8 the next day (and once down 1/4), these were followed by peaks within one to three days after the big up move. The other three times it had down moves the next day of about 1 to 2 1/2 which were followed by either 5-day, 11-day or longer price rises which were pretty sharp.
Where does this all leave me, except obviously hoping for a moderate correction in the stock tomorrow, or eagerly awaiting an INTU legal settlement, an AOL ebill deal, closing the gap signing on with the very few large billers and banks which haven't signed with CKFR yet, double-digit quarterly subscriber count growth, must-own attitudes by Fidelity/Putnam/Cap Research/etc.
While I'm dreaming, isn't it about time for the Federal Reserve to privatize check-clearing via a contract with Checkfree; for Chas. Schwab to contract CKFR to turnkey all its back-end account processing activities; and, so that they aren't left out in the cold, the EU should sign CKFR to process all its paperwork for its new currency unit.
We don't want to be entirely dependent on the billions of profits to flow from ebilling with banks and other financial institutions. We could use some of these other massive profit territories.
