Outpost.com's Affiliate Network Expands Nearly 400%; 10,000 Affiliates Added in the Last Four Weeks
KENT, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 1999--Cyberian Outpost Inc. (NASDAQ:COOL), a leading global online retailer of computer hardware, software, and accessories, today announced its Affiliate Network has grown by nearly 400% since October. Further, in the last four weeks the Company's online store, Outpost.com (http://www.outpost.com), has added more than 10,000 affiliates. The Outpost.com Affiliate Network currently boasts a membership of more than 25,000 affiliates.
Launched in December 1997, Outpost.com's Affiliate Network was expanded in June 1998 through a partnership with LinkShare Corporation, the largest provider of affiliate programs on the Web. The program has been further strengthened by the Company's recent partnership with the GeoCities "Pages That Pay" program, which encourages GeoCities' 3.5 million members to link their sites to Outpost.com
