Black Swan Gold Mines Ltd. announces Board changes VANCOUVER, March 24 /CNW/ - Black Swan Gold Mines Ltd. Trading Symbol: TSE - BSW BERLIN - BSM FRANKFURT - BSM Black Swan Gold Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce that further to the reorganization of management announced on March 16, 1999 Dr. Roger Morton has been appointed to the Board of the Company. Dr. Morton is currently Professor Emeritus in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta. He is President of two private Alberta companies involved in the cutting and polishing of diamonds and coloured gemstones as well as a director of several junior mineral resource corporations including Golden Star Resources Ltd., which he co-founded. The Board is very pleased to be able to draw on Dr. Morton's extensive academic, geological exploration, and corporate management experience of the past 40 years. As part of the reorganization, Mr. Arthur Fisher has resigned from the Board and will be replaced as non-executive Chairman by Mr. Bryce Porter. The Board would like to thank Mr. Fisher for his service to the Company over the past 14 years.
