May be lower than AMD but higher than Intel

The entire reason for National's existence is to build very low cost parts. Don't underestimate their ability to do so. I doubt that Intel can compete with their cost structure, particularly given the large die size of Intel CPUs.

National did lose money, but that had more to do with their very low ASPs than with their manufacturing costs.
