Larry, this disease IS less deadly than expected from expected amount of enrollees isn't that why we are at 370 and just now "close"? Ask yourself what are the chances that you pick at random 26 kids with Meningo. and 25 out of 26 don't die. Now you look at the physical characteristics of the dead one and ask yourself how many of these are going to be in TREATED group of PhaseIII. Now since most in trial are Brits, are your chances greater or less of getting person with those characteristics? You see in my opinion the only persons that might be dying in the treated group in Phase III have to have at least as bad physical characteristics as the one dead in Phase II. The only thing just as deadly besides being in placebo group is Meningo. with those characteristics of person in PhaseII that died in my opinion. George, Murphy corrected himself tonight and said it was 130 not 125!
