I think CSCO bought Stratacom because AT&T could not install them fast enough at the time. Who wouldn't want the political clout of saying "We power the AT&T frame network!" I had a broker calling me every day, for information on Stratacom, and I watched the value of the stock soar 70% over the next 2 weeks. Actually, there were a lot of reasons CSCO got Stratacom, and I think we are all touching on a few. CSCO was very proud of Stratacom, right up until the whole AT&T network crashed.... and everyone has to admit just what went wrong... Jack
