Get some EMC and chill, Munsters.

MTI should stick with the business of R&D and selling the related patents. If EMC acquires the Clariion division of DataGeneral (as is rumored), they might as well acquire the runt, MTI, for the purpose of putting their R&D to work for their individual interests. The world can get by without a Gladiator. I don't know why anybody's buying them (if they are), except to save money because MTI is giving the stuff away. Hence no margin. No margin, no money, no earnings.

Syquest gave their stuff away (admittedly a better product than ZIP), as does WordPerfect (Corel). Didn't do either one of them a damn bit of good.

Maybe they can do like Apple. Every grade school would have MAC's and Gladiators.
