Steve, All Identix:
Have you read this.....I quote....
Early in 1996, the Boston Police Department, concidered one of the nation's most technologically advanced in law enforcement, reported a year-long study of it's city-wide ID network, integrated by Comnetix,Inc., anchored by Identix TouchPrint 600 workstations. According to Deputy Commissioner William Casey, the system "in one year enabled us to return to street patrol at least 40,000 officer-hours otherwise spent in booking and transfer."
Identix Annual Report 1995.... page 8
Simple Math: 40 hours per week x 50 weeks = 2,000 hours = One Officer 40,000 divided by 2,000 = 20
This means..... 20 full-time Police Officers back on the street! This is how tax dollars should be spent! Better have 40 lb test line, Steve!
