Brocade IPO

I think the recent message from Asic_1 on the yahoo board about
the Brocade IPO is very interesting.

"I find Brocade going public now with the balance
sheet they have and and the burn rate of the company tells me the rumors about Brocade is true. I don't think they can get cash any other way but to do an IPO or close their doors. I will say that if Brocade does sellout or fold it will affect the FC industry negatively."

IMO. The Brocade IPO has failed to meet three conditions suggested
by some contributors here. 1. $100 million revenue. 2. 10 OEMs.
3. Profitable. If we exclude the sale to Sequent, the FC switch
universe in 98 was very small. If the VCs don't want sign anymore
cheques, does that mean they don't believe in Brocade's future
or the future growth for FC switches is less than spectacular.
