49er Steve et al,

Re: IPOs through Schwab

Thought you might be interested in some actual results using my "high-return, low-risk" savings plan of participating in IPOs through Schwab at usually 100 shares a time.

12/18/98 BOT 100 Infospace at $1500
01/21/99 BOT 100 Allaire at $2000
02/03/99 BOT 100 Entercom at $2250
02/05/99 BOT 100 Perot at $1600
02/05/99 SLD 100 Infospace at $6170 used to fund Perot purchase
02/17/99 BOT 100 Catapult at $1000
02/17/99 BOT 700 Korn/Ferr at $9800 (high allocation-not good)
02/18/99 BOT 200 Serena at $2600
02/18/99 BOT 100 Onyx at $1300 (this one's a keeper)
03/02/99 BOT 100 Intraware at $1600
03/08/99 SLD 100 Allaire at $4920
03/08/99 SLD 100 Perot at $3920 used to fund RoweCom purch
03/08/99 BOT 100 RoweCom at $1600
03/12/99 SLD 100 Entercom at $2995
03/16/99 SLD 200 Serena at $3583
03/23/99 BOT 100 AutoWeb at $1400

Amount Invested $26,650
Value as of 3/24/99 $43,819

That is a $17,169 gain on $26,650 invested over 3 months with 10 of 11 winners. If anyone has a better way of making such good returns at near zero risk I would be very interested to discuss.

VERY Happy Investing,

Gary
