What an asinine comment. Perhaps its the fact that I had two glasses of wine with dinner that has set me off but some of the poster's talk about Ed as if he were some "God" and then a comment like this one. What a crock. I have taken the time to attend the annual meetings and back in the KM days actually flew to California, visited Ampex headquarters and had a tour of the facilities with Ed. While he certainly is not someone that I would want to go have a beer with, I take offence to his characterization as a "drunk cowboy, sitting on ole Ampex.

Which brings me to my question of the night. How many of you fine, excited,"Ampex is going to make me rich" folks have taken the time to visit the company and talk with senior management. Investors on both coasts have the opportunity. Ed, the CFO, and the internet group are in New York and close to our east coast posters. Likewise Cooper is still in Redwood City, CA and available to those local posters. Perhaps some one on one visits might be appropriate and help to keep everyone grounded in reality.
