well, we agree on something >>The company is a puppet<< this is a major problem IMO in the investment community. I for one am always looking for a "pure play" where all the cash isn't going to be siphoned off by the parents. I'm not saying @Home is the purest of plays...but at least it holds up more of the appearance of being one. >>You also don't know how much animosity exists between the cable partners<< I'm sure! >>people demanded government protection from presumably profiteering cable companies. << the people's hatred of their cable companies is perhaps only surpassed by their hatred for insurance companies! I have always seen this as a negative for this stock. But you understand that this deal (the roll out of broadband) can only be done with a loose band of competitors and thieves.
