I read an interesting stat today on the amount of nutritional sales that occurs in GNC, WFMI and OATS. 28% of sales go to those three chains within the NF channel. Compare that with the top 4 drug retailers owning 70% market share. This market is just maturing and it is just a matter of time before consolidation occurs and the main market players emerge. One way or the other, these three companies will be right in the middle.
