Regarding the rumour about EBAY being interested. I personally haven't heard it from my own sources, but I the more I think about it the more it seems to make some sense, based on the following.

1) Ebay can easily afford the purchase. If they are interested, it would certainly make sense to go after BII prior to Nasdaq.

2) Someone here mentioned that Ebay and Bidcom are in different segments of the auction arena.....Ebay being oriented to individuals, and BII being oriented to businesses. This isn't a detracting factor, it's a positive! It would be a natural fit for EBAY to extend their business into OTHER areas of the auction business such as BidCom's.

3) With EBAY being cash rich, it would seem to make sense to add to their explosive growth ALSO through aquisitions.

Could it happen? I would guess yes. The only thing I'm not sure of is whether I would want it or not! Which would be better...being bought out at a greatly higher price or waiting for a Nasdaq listing and getting a greatly higher price. It's a win/win whichever way it goes...just which one would be MORE of a win!

Regards,

Kevin
