Victor: averages are just that I suppose. The last four moves in the computer sector that Birinyi observed are as follows:
1) Rally from Aug 31 to Sep 28/98 of 23%, 28 days
2) Decline from Sep 28 to Oct 8/98 of 20.4%, 10 days
3) Rally from Oct 18 to Feb 1/99 of 87%, 116 days
4) Decline from Feb 2 to Mar 23 of 17%, 50 days
He seems to say that the last decline finished two days ago.
