WebTV has no more cut/paste or other normal PC
capabilities than the TV set in your living room. All we
can do is look at all the pretty pictures on the
internet and participate in typed message forums like
this one and we also have e-mail capability with a
maximum of six e-mail boxes per account; ie, Dad, Mom,
three kids and the old weirdo who lives in the attic can
each have their own e-mail address, password, etc. BUT
NO MOUSE, NO CUT, NO PASTE, NO SAVE, NO PRINT. And that
is why it only costs about $330 and no software to buy.
To be fair, printing is a planned addition for whenever
they get it ready; of course then a printer purchase
looms. Using an automobile analogy, WebTV is a brand new
basic car with a 4-cylinder motor, std tranny and an AM
radio period. It'll look nice and get you where you're
going but it's a no frills trip.

I certainly hope this is the last post about WebTV for
any reason other than as an investment.
