I note a news release from Lucent which announces the availability of its PacketStar IP gateway 1000,Packet Star IP Gatekeeper and PacketStar IP Manager. These products will enable NSPs to deploy IP networks which can carry two million inexpensive voice and fax calls per day,and expand into revenue-generating services such as pre paid calling cards.This system is designed to offer authentication,call routing,and billing support and comes with a prepay biiling server.Sounds very much like the VOIP system.Comments??
