blankmind, You have been with us in Vivus for how long now? I have to agree with RT. Sometimes I think you just woke up from a year long comma or took a year trip to Mars. How can you even ask such a question after all the discussion on this thread discussing Vivus, Astra and Astra's merger into Astra-Zeneca?? The Astra-Zeneca merger is now a done deal. Vivus now has an international agreement with one of the largest drug companies in the world to sell and market MUSE in Europe, Central and South America and Australia/New Zealand. It is a good time now to have a stronger marketing arm as MUSE is soon to be launched in many European countries. Due to Astra's prior dealings with Vivus/MUSE they make a good fit as the most likely company to sign a domestic partnership to market and sell MUSE in the United States via their subsidiary Astra Pharmaceuticals, LP which has a USA sales force of 2,200. Now with the Zeneca merger, the A/Z sales force will be even larger than that. All the more good news if Vivus is able to sign a domestic partnership with A/Z.
