MICAP,

DRT still says you can get a visual indication on where to grab sample, trench and drill for Ta (assuming the grab and trench assays warrant drilling). The industry does not need speculative press releases that talk visuals (and yes, by the way it is black/'salt and pepper' was how I heard it described).

First, the geological model has to fit and second, drill results must prove up economic grades. Ta tends to occurr in bonanza zones tens of metres wide. The fact that the Big Whopper is not zoned, has lower grade Ta/Ce throughout the deposit, no spodumene, etc. indicates to me its a very different pegmatite than Tanco, Bikita, and Greenbushes. You draw your own conclusions - I'm not a geologist.

As for 'whatever happened to that guy', I may have taken off my skates, but I have not left the arena. I no longer contribute to this thread because I am no longer a shareholder ... I know and respect many other shareholders in AVL and I hope the company is successful in its endeavours to bring the Big Whopper through to mine development. No question its a very significant petalite and rubidium K-feldspar deposit.
