INDEX UPDATE ================================ The DOW broke 9800 so the next resistance is at 9900. Such may negate my thoughts of a stairstep in the 9550-9800 range, so we need to wait and see some more. The market internals are still weak, with the NEW HIGHs at 14 only and the NEWs LOWs at 48, but the NAZ and RUT are showing significant strength. My short-term technicals are smack in the middle so, as I have always stated, anything can happen. Seeya
