5 to 10 years? hey, in tech a long term horizon is 1 to 2 years. you want to make sure sonet has long term growth in it before socking this thing away for 5 years. we're in the early discussion stages of ip over optical bypassing the need for a complete sonet loop. (it's probably not an issue for a few years, but it's something to be aware of....)
