Pravin, Intel recently demoed a 1GHz PIII. They make announcements about Merced just about every day. They have been talking about a 466MHz Celeron for months and a 600 MHz PIII for months. Why is everyone so critical of AMD? Their announcements are usually only skewed by a few weeks, as opposed to possible milleniums (in the case of Merced.) Jerry and AMD are doing a fabulous job. It would help if everyone stepped back a little bit and recognized that the time frame of engineering development is somewhat longer than the minute to minute bumps in the stock market. Scumbria
