Do you really expect a settlement between the DOJ and MSFT in the near future? No. The talk is just a necessary part of the process. I also don't think any of it will make much difference until the trial resumes. I agree with Jesse on this one: Settlement? Ha! Microsoft's Arrogance Strikes Again zdnet.com
