There's alot of talk on the Worldcom thread that GTE recently made an offer, (privately I assume), to buy Worldcom at $36 to $38. Do any of you who follow GTE have any insight into this. This rumor of an offer is not mine, and I'm not trying to stir up anything. I do own Worldcom just so you know. The person who claims the offer was made says he knows it is true. Just curious.
