Good stuff CC. I am a bit biassed towards revenues because BII (and the entire industry) is so new and, let's face it, so untested.

Profits and margins are secondary at this time. You do, though, have a good point. Gross margin percentages are less important at this stage than gross margin dollars. I would much prefer $10 million of revenues with an operating margin of 9% (even 8%) than $1 million with a margin of 90%.

Also I agree that international offices and joint ventures could be the future growth motor. (How about a joint venture with Christies for an interactive web site in Europe. This would get the chat wires humming).

Perhaps I am being a bit too demanding for good Q1 revenue numbers. You seem to be suggesting that BII is still perfecting its corporate strategy. Such modifications which could interrupt revenue streams in the short term are normal for companies at this stage in their growth. You probably would have seen recently the disappointment registered when Games Trader (GTE - TSE) nixed an acquisition prospect. I suspect that it was because its corporate strategy had not yet gelled. Perhaps BII is right now going through a similar deliberative process.

I won't bore you with the ins and outs of revenue gradients as a predictor of stock market growth but I am reasonably certain that this gives you a clue why the top ten internet stocks represent over 85% of the total market cap value of all the hundred or so listed internet stocks.

Anyway thanks for your info.
