I did read it. And I agree. (Except, as you might have noted by now, I have to disagree with something, so...) I am also EXTREMELY CONFIDENT that Gates will make a very positive announcement regarding Windows 2000 at the COMDEX show on April 19th. They've already been putting out an October date, so we can expect confirmation, but this show will belong to Office2K and not Windows. Most of the bombast will be for that, I suspect.
