COOL Revenue Increases an Estimated 300% in Fourth Quarter A 40% Growth over Previous
Quarter

Kent, Conn., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyberian Outpost, Inc. (Nasdaq: COOL - news), a leading global Internet-only
retailer of computer hardware, software and accessories, today announced preliminary unaudited net sales results for its fourth
quarter and fiscal year ended February 28, 1999. The Company expects to report audited results for these periods during the
first week of April 1999.

Outpost.com reported that total revenue for the fourth quarter of 1999, is expected to reach approximately $33.0 million. This
is an estimated four-fold increase over the $8.1 million reported in the same period last year and an approximate 40% increase
over the third quarter of fiscal 1999. The Company expects total revenue for the fiscal year ended February 28, 1999 to be
approximately $85.0 million, compared to $22.7 for the 1998 fiscal year. Outpost.com has achieved solid customer growth,
with a total of 280,000 customers at the end of February 1999, an addition of approximately 70,000 customers since the last
quarter.
