A week or so ago I referred to some of Chemtrak's future plans I had read. I said I would post some additional info. The article was in the November 4 issue of Drug Topics (by Medical Economics Publishing), page 26. The exerpt I mentioned is a quote by Alene Holzman as published in the article: "Further down the road are easy-to-use disposable tests to screen and diagonse other health conditions, including prostate problems, osteoporosis, and menopause."
She is also quoted as saying that Cholestrak at that time was seeing distribution in 90% of Walgreens, 95% of Rate Aid and Revco, and 60% of independents. The mention of some of the company's future plans seemed reason enough to mention this article here. I tried to find it in soft copy on the internet, but had no luck. Maybe someone else will?

Also, anybody think it would be worth contacting Astra-Merck to see if they might comment on the launch date of Hp Chek? A press release from January (I think) mentioned that Chemtrak was looking forward to the launch this quarter. Hope so.
