Perry - the harmonization of the modes is still in the works. Please do not draw premature conclusions at this point on any parameter.

Thanks for that information. That is certainly not the impression given in all of the press releases about multiple modes etc. . But even if you do not consider it cast in concrete that there will be incompatible chip rates, Qualcomm gave up most of their leverage in this area by agreeing to IPR terms. It is now entirely up to the operators, and if it weren't for Vodafone I wouldn't be too sanguine about that. (and even Vodafone is only one operator).
