Question for thread: My fulltime job is systems / network administrator for a small digital imaging business. Up to now we have built from scratch all of our computers, both servers and desktops. I am currently faced with having to roll out about 12 additional new desktop systems and am really wondering out loud if we want to build these from scratch. I would like some opinions on what manufacturer / model would be recommended if I were to go out and buy ready to go systems. They will be used for internet, email, office apps and an accounting package. They will be networked to our NT network with 100mbs cards. If I can get a reasonable system (not highest end but not lowest) and keep the cost down, then it seems that the savings to build would be be minor and probably not worth it.

Support is not really an deciding factor for me. I would do prebuilt mainly to save time and less headache for me.

Any Comments?
Thanks
Dan
