Teflon, I think it will be starting strong in the morning and 185 intraday and drops off down to 180 - 182. Closes at its high for the day 185 to 190. That is very bullish but it would not surprise me. As long as we don't have any tech bombshells, this looks price movement looks realistic to me. That work done by Richie on MSFT price movements before and after a stock split is kind of a technical factor in the stock movement. That is, the potential sellers will not be selling in the next week since they know the history. Furthermore, everyone knows about the upcoming Office2000 and also Window2k buildup. We are going to see a supply shortage of MSFT stock in the next week or so(and continuous short covering). Might cause an internet stock type of reaction---and that would not suprise me at all. Like myself, a lot of people are realizing that the trial is a non-factor in the price movement. It took me a long time to realize this and I have lost out on even higher gains as a result of this fear. People are realizing that a settlement won't be designed to criple MSFT. Even the courts don't want to do this. I believe that fund managers are realizing that cooler heads will prevail in that dispute. That is why we will actually see some of them trying to buy back shares they have sold. The bottom line is that the fundamentals are just so strong for this company that any hurdle is just a great buying opportunity. IMO, this is the only really safe stock to own!!!
