You're right. All morning I've been walking through rooms neglected for months and muttering, "I can't let her see this!" well, the house will be cleaned either by me to avoid the shame or by her, probably wearing a mask and surgical gloves.

You know what's weird? We're getting ready to sell our old house that we've been renting and I called the tenant about showing it. She said, "Well, Tuesdays and Thursdays are best. The maid is here Monday, Wed. and Friday." Huh? I don't have any maid and she has one three times a week? Depressing.
